When you are still sleeping at dawn, the activity of this flower market starts. Orange and yellow genda or marigolds are the highest grossers in this market in any time of the year. There is also variety of flowers like rose, lily, lotus, jasmine, etc. The beautiful locale of the Ganges under the Howrah Bridge provides a great glimpse to the tourists and travelers.
- You must have known Madurai to be the temple town of India. The Meenaxi Temple is one of the greatest tourist pullers in India. This town of Tamil Nadu is one of the most famous places in India for flowers. One would get the best Jasmine here.
- If talking about flowers in India, how can one forget the breath-taking floating flower market over the Dal Lake in Kashmir?
